OUR VISION

Farguson Chapel Baptist Church envisions being a beacon of faith, love, and service in the McDonough, GA community. Rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, we strive to nurture spiritual growth, empower families, and impact lives through worship, discipleship, and outreach. Our goal is to build a strong, united fellowship where all individuals find hope, healing, and purpose. Through prayer, teaching, and community engagement, we seek to glorify God and extend His love to all generations.
CHURCH HISTORY

Farguson Chapel Baptist Church in McDonough, GA, was founded in 1870 and is located at 1701 E Lake Rd. The church has a long history of serving the local community, upholding Baptist traditions, and fostering faith-based engagement. In 1989, the church was led by Reverend Carmichael Gipson. As of February 2025, the church is under the leadership of Pastor Gazzara Hill.

The Pastor of Farguson Baptist Church who is lead by God to lead, protect, and nurture his flock. Just as Jesus declared in John 10:11 offering spiritual nourishment, and safeguarding them from spiritual dangers. Through teaching, counseling, and servant leadership, ensuring that believers remain steadfast in their journey with Christ.
